Governance

ILSI SEA Region is governed by a Board of Directors, which comprises an equal number of invited individuals from the public sector (Scientific Directors) and ILSI SEA Region member representatives (Member Directors), to ensure a balance of scientific perspectives.

A Scientific Advisory Committee and a Panel of Scientific Advisors provide the latest scientific knowledge and expertise, as well as general oversight and guidance for our scientific programs.

ILSI SEA Region’s Scientific Directors and Scientific Advisors are experts in their fields of research, and hold leading positions in renowned universities, research organizations and other well-recognized institutions in the region. They are also selected from a diversity of disciplines, including nutrition, clinical research, food safety, food technology, biotechnology and toxicology.

Membership

ILSI SEA Region is an active and dynamic branch of ILSI operating within key regions in the Asia Pacific. Our programs and activities span across 10 Southeast Asian countries, Australia and New Zealand. Since our establishment in 1993, ILSI SEA Region has been an important partner in supporting collaborations and advancements in science for the improvement of public health in these regions.

Our activities are funded and supported by our industry members, governments, foundations and institutions.
