Scientists, researchers, academics and educators are key partners that ILSI Southeast Asia works with through our scientific programs and research projects.
Members of our Panel of Scientific Advisors, and our Scientific Advisory Committee, include experts and key opinion leaders in their fields of research. Many hold leading positions in renowned universities and research institutions. They are selected from a diversity of disciplines, including nutrition, clinical research, food safety, risk assessment, biotechnology, and consumer behavior.
Our Scientific Advisors contribute their invaluable knowledge and expertise to the development of our scientific strategies, priorities and programs.
Scientific Advisors who are elected to our Board of Directors also contribute to the leadership and governance of ILSI Southeast Asia Region.
ILSI Southeast Asia Region collaborates with universities, academic and research institutes to identify knowledge gaps that require further research and investigation, with the aim of advancing scientific understanding and supporting science-based decision making to address public health concerns.

ILSI Southeast Asia Region organizes scientific conferences, symposia, seminars and workshops across Southeast Asia and Australasia. Many of these scientific meetings are organized in collaboration with universities and academic institutes.
